Hi there Superheroes! Was jw what kind of greens you guys steam for breakfast and if you have any good combos/recipes? This always seems to be the most difficult part of my eating! I love those darn collards but i need variety! Thanks all =)
I really like steamed kale. Bok choy is good too. Raw radish sprouts, micro greens, and arugula are yummy for breakfast as well. My favorite way to season any of these is with a little olive oil, ume (plum) vinegar, and gomashio (TKD recipe).
I throw almost all my greens (turnip leaves,chard, mustard leaves, kale, dandelion, spinach...) in a blender every 3rd morning with a mix of:
1 bag Cascadian Farms frozen berries, 1 tbsp black strap molasses, 1 tbsp flax oil, couple Roma tomatoes, 1 peeled carrot, 1 cup water, some apple pieces or apple sauce and a splash of vanilla.
Its awesome and THE ONLY WAY I can get more greens into my diet! I absolutely hate the taste of chard/kale/collards/okra/bok choy any time before 3pm.
