I thought maybe it would be nice to have a place where we could jot down any regretful food choices we've made, and share how it made us feel physically.
Last night I went out to dinner with my husband. I was starving. I have been 98% vegan for over 2 months now (only had accidental egg whites in a veggie burger - fefore I read the ingredients). I have been feeling wonderful. Well, he ordered the "Cheese Loaf". Yes, globs and globs of cheese, greasy cheese, stuffed into a loaf of bread. I was so hungry, I dug in. ICK ICK ICK! I had a few pieces, and have felt GROSS ever since. After that not-so-appetizing appetizer, my food came and I could not eat it fast enough. Like I was trying to flood my stomach with the GOOD stuff - I ordered a roasted veggie sandwich on whole grain, with sweet potato fries. I have to say, the rest of the night I wanted to throw up. Hard to believe I used to eat that way, that much cheese all the time. I haven't missed it at all since going vegan, but I sure learned a lesson last night and will stay away - I just feel better when I do - and that is more important!!!
Love this site and love the support we all give each other. =)
