I've read in the past that most women/people have candida internally. It feeds off of sugar, right? So by eating the vegan way & giving up the sugars, does the yeast just naturally flush out of our systems? if not, what can we do to 'detox' in this way?

If you aren't noticing any manifestations of yeast problems, you probably don't need to be too worried about this. And, YES, eating vegan superhero will do most of the work for you. But, if you are having a yeast problem, you should do a homeopathic yeast detox, load up on Vitamin C & Omega fatty acids (3, 6, 9), avoid yeast foods and any fermented foods/drinks (and avoid sugar, like you said).
Hope this helps! :)

When I went vegan about a year or 2 ago I stopped because I kept having yeast infections. I never had one before and I've not had one since. I'm nervous to start back on the vegan diet because I don't want this to happen again. I do not like pickled food either. Any other suggestions?

I have a problem with systemic yeast/candida also. I would love if someone just briefly mentioned what the best and worst foods are. And also, I would love to know if there are negatives to eating nutritional yeast?
