Hello all! My name is Kelly! I just started reading The Kind Diet and I'm so excited to see what all is in store. I have done a vegan diet before but I never really had any recipes or guidence, just NO MEAT OR ANIMAL PRODUCTS so I'm happy to have some help on the way. It wasn't too difficult for me the first time but I just ate the wrong stuff. I loaded up on white rice and breads instead of more veggies and I had a couple problems that sprouted from that so I just stopped. I'm doing this for my health and the environment. I have a long list of family health histories and I just don't want to deal with that stuff so I want to be the healthiest me I can be! I've also had a weight problem for just about my whole life. I think when I turned 9 it started to go downhill. I'm just sick of being overweight and unhealthy. It's time to do my part! Thank you all! Kelly Ps- I think this is a great website, it's so nice to come in here and be able to ask questions and share good stories and recipes with each other.
