I forgot to mention...try Coconut Bliss' Chocolate & Peanut Butter Non-Dairy Dessert...made with Coconut Milk. It's delicious!

Oh my gosh me too! I have a bad sweet tooth and I have no idea what I can have that is actually healthy! It's terrible. So lately my go to sweets have been vegan cookies made by Alternative Baking Company. They come in a few flavors and are sold in most health stores (such as Whole Foods), and oh my gah they are amazing. But I know that no cookie is really 'good' for me, so I'm not sure what sort of snack I can have to dissolve my cravings. It's especially hard trying to find something without white sugar! I know Alicia talks about sweet rice candies in TKL but I have no idea where to find them? Anyone know of any healthy candies?

guess what I found? look at pg. 290 of TKD the p.s. under menstrual cramp tea...eating like this helps me during that time of the month. BTW, I drank the tea this a.m. spicy, but no cramps and I don't feel draggy anymore.

Maybe we can all come up with some lotus root, daikon, shiitake mushroom soup ....ooh with some greens too.

You all are so awesome.

Love medjool dates as well. I have them with peanut butter! The Babycakes recipes are great; their brownies are perfect for a chocolate fix.

ughhhhhhh..............i just read this after I had a TON for dinner, a vegan chocolate bar, a grapefruit and some blue tortilla chips. Actually, now that I write that down it doesn't seem so bad. But I am full and have to sometimes (ok OFTEN) remember that I shouldn't be eating non-stop after dinner until I go to bed. I thnk the grapefruit was good for filling me up. The chocolate? Eh, it was dairy-free and everyone needs a bit of chocolate. :)

Can you tell me where to buy maple sugar or rice syrup? Will I get it in regular store?
