I've been on the superhero diet for the last 2 weeks and things have been going great. Much easier than I thought, no cravings or anything. BUT I am constipated. I've been eating enough fiber. I eat beans, rice, veggies all the good stuff but I'm not going number 2. This is so awkward :) but I could use some advice.

Try eating oatmeal for breakfast for the next three days and drink plenty of water.

You are probably not drinking enough water. Up your water intake significantly to see if that helps... if not, one option you might want to look in to is guava... It's known to help with constipation, and I think it's sold in tablet form... but try lots of water first... Good luck!

In the morning, squeeze half a lemon in about 8 oz of hot water and drink it all before breakfast. It works for me.

One tablespoon of flax seeds.

They don't taste delicious. When I was little, I used to have bowel issues....my mom did not believe in medicines to make me 'go' so flax seeds did the trick.

I live with three girls at college and one is vegan. She is on the flax seeds too....

Either dilute them in juice or gobble down a tablepoon and then drink so water.

It's very interesting because when they get wet they develop a gel like husk, either way you'll poop!!!

Do some yoga with a focus on twists, and give it a few hours. That really helps to stimulate the intestines to get things going.

I say eat fruit first thing and then your regular breakfast. Also, and I know this isn't superhero, but Citricel every morning will make you very regular. It tastes like tang.

I swear by vegan flax oil pills (Deva is a good vegan brand) and Kombucha!! And on occasion a vegan probiotic pill if you're really having trouble. Hope this helps!
