Look into the SaladMaster pots and pans. Their steel does not leach into the water. They use 316 titanium stainless steel. I went to one of the Salad Master cooking shows at a friends house. The only down side is they are very expensive. Good Luck!!

i recently purchased t-fal stainless elegance (i couldn't find the copper bottomed ones here nor would amazon deliver them to an APO). i like them a lot. they cook differently from what you are used to (true for all stainless steel) b/c they don't have the non stick. be sure to preheat your pans (i do it on the highest setting), then turn down the heat BEFORE adding oil. then add whatever you're cooking. this will prevent most sticking. i hope this helps

Thank you all for your response. I ended up buying a stainless steel set from Wal-mart.... So far no complains, but I will look into the ones that you recommended.

Hi. i recently bought a set of 316 stainless steel cookware. i can't say enough of how amazing and life changing it has been for me and my family. it's called "Nutriply" it's just like what saladmaster has but for 1/3 of the price. i get why people buy saladmaster is because they are told that this is the only company with this kind of product but that's not true. Nutraply has the same amazing cookware and selling it at a price that people can actually afford.
