i have tal ronnen's cookbook "the conscious cook" but could not find the maki roll recipe. also, do you have a recipe for the tofu in sesame sauce? that sounds so yummy. i loaned my TKD book out to a friend so i don't currently have it as a reference. plus, i don't recall ever seeing that recipe in TKD. thanks much

Dottie look again, the maki rolls are in Tal's book.....dont have it on me but I can repost later with the pg #.....a lot of work but SO worth it....they are a scrumptious little treat!

Lovebird - I use this recipe for my sauce located here: http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/Sesame-Tofu-177242 minus the gingerroot...never been able to find it. Amazing tofu marinade!

Sauce 1/3 cup honey 3 tablespoons tamari soy sauce 3 tablespoons finely minced gingerroot 2 tablespoons sesame oil 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar 2 finely minced garlic cloves 1-2 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes

Yum the sesame tofu looks delicious :)

Im pretty sure ginger root is just plain ol' ginger. Technically in botanical terms its a modified stem but its commonly called a root. So that hunk of giger you can get at any grocery store should be spot on.

Mmmmm I love ginger.

I love collard greens now... The collard greens with pine nuts and raisins... yum. But instead of pine nuts, I threw in almonds (much cheaper) and I also tossed in some fresh beets... The beets add a great touch! I can make a huge batch and snack on it for days.
