I'm on week 2 of Vegan. I usually eat veggies, fruit, beans, brown rice, whole grain pasta, gardein products, tried tofu a few times, walnuts, oatmeal. Occasionaly I'll have Rice dream ice cream from the container.
This happens on and off (more so the last few days) where I feel hungery not long after I eat and I constantly feel weak (even when I eat!) I don't know it its just shock that my body is going through or if it's something else. I feel like I'm starving and I ate 2 hours ago.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Add more veggies and whole grains. The whole grains really fill you up and so do raw veggies.
Also being meat is very heavy in you stomach. Being full as a vegan feels different. You just have to get used to it.
Make sure you are getting your leafy greens for iron and some nutritional yeast for B12. And make sure you are getting some iodine from some source. My salt doesn't have it in it but I have kelp granules in a shaker.
