Have any of you had the raw vegan Merry's Miracle Tarts by Hail Merry? OMG they were giving samples at our Whole Foods here in Austin yesterday so I tried one and was immediately transported to chocolate mint heaven. It is the best dessert, vegan or non-vegan, I have ever had. They make several different flavors and she has a website under construction at www.hailmerry.com I didn't see the tarts on there yet but your local Whole Foods probably has them. They are kind of hidden on a top shelf at mine so you might need to ask where they are located. They are rich and delicious and one tart has 360 calories. Yummy!

I COMPLETELY agree with you Patty!! Hail Merry's raw, vegan, gluten-free chocolate tart has quickly become ALL I want when the sweet tooth kicks in! It's incredible! They're done with the website, and it looks AWESOME! =) Cheers!

OMG the meyer lemon tart is too die for!! I am not a big chocolate fan, but find vegan desserts to be few and far between in Louisiana-- so do eat the vegan slice of chocolate cake that the WF bakery sells daily, the Amy's organic choc cake (the one that comes with the tofurkey feast), and the Joy's choc cake that you order as a whole cake at WF.... BUT when I saw vegan on the Hail Merry's Miracle Tart I was ecstatic! I couldn't even wait til I got home. I ate half of it in the car and by the hardest saved the other half for my vegan buddy to enjoy. I also bought the mint choc one (which she loved more than the lemon). But- I am a HUGE supporter of the product!!! YUMMY!!

Thanks for the info. on something yummy to enjoy now and then, Patty! I'll keep this in mind the next time I'm looking for something special to "splurge" on calorie wise...when I just have to have something chocolate and decadent.
