I have been indulging in delicious vegan food for a while now, but I really think I need to take it to the next level. Starting Thursday (I need some time to shop and plan) I am going to try to stick as closely to Superhero as I can for 60 days!

Who's with me? April 8th to June 8th... we can do it!

I really need to try too. I made my shopping list for everything on the first day of the superhero plan (except the plum soup).
I don't know if I can live without my Ezekiel sprouted buns. It'll be tough! I just had the most delicious hummus, lettuce, onion and mustard sandwich on a sprouted bun and i'm soooo satisfied right now.
I'll give it a shot;)

I want to do this. I've been vegan since october, but I really need to lose weight and superhero seems to be the way to go. I wanted to follow her plan from the book, but there are so many sea vegetable recipes and I've tried and HATE sea vegetables. anyone have some really good starter recipes for incorporating these things. Also, besides water and tea, are there any other good things to drink? I need to read that part of the book again, but anyone who has already got the plan down I'd love the input. I did go to the store today planning to start superhero, but instead of buying things for certain recipes, I mostly just bought the staples and lots of veggies. I feel like that's a cheaper options

Aww I just saw this now and I've already had a Rice Dreams choc. cookie thingy smiley-embarassed.gif so I will start tomorrow instead. Other than that I've been good.
I've def. been wanting to do this and the weight-loss won't be terrible either. I even made a big pot of sticky rice tonight, strictly for leftovers. hehehe

Good luck, everyone! I'm sure we're all interested in hearing about your progress. I'm going to start superhero in May. I needed to give myself some time to be prepared (comfortable with recipes food-wise), 'cause for me that will be the key to my success.

Today is one month of being vegan for me. I don't know if I can go strictly superhero but I'm going to give it my all. I started Tues. Had a great day Tuesday but Wed was a total disaster. I don't know if I was hormonal or what but i was having emotional issues and crazy cravings. Today was pretty darn good tho. Feeling strong. Good luck everyone! Is anybody going strictly by the superhero meal plan in the book or are you just winging it with the superhero recipes??? Just curious.

Best of luck! I did it for 47 days straight, and felt great! I had some sugar this week, and will most likely cut it out. Ya'll will be superheroes and do so well! Suzy, I did just the superhero--I got sick on the 4th day and then felt amazing with so much energy after that.
