Does anybody know the variety of Kabocha that Alicia refers to in her book and that is incredibly sweet?

I wanted to try growing them this year but found out that there are several Kabocha varieties.

I think there is a red skinned one and a green skinned one, or at least that is what my local farmers market always has. Both colors have really yummy sweet orange flesh, try botht o see which you like, I LOVE them both. Just made a curry with a green skinned one and it was amazing!

I think 'kabocha' is a Japenese type of squash.

You can also grow them yourself by using the kabocha seeds for your store bought kabocha or purchase seeds online.
