Just emailed them requesting a show that cooks seasonal, organic, vegetarian/vegan and mentioned that there would be a HIGH demand for that type of show!! Let's all write in and request the show!! http://www.foodnetwork.com/contact-us/package/index.html Love love love cooking shows but I'm with all of you in that I don't enjoy seeing the meat segments. Narly.

I wish I could host a vegan show on food network lol!!! I think maybe we should challenge ourselves when watching those shows. find something that sounds good, and make it vegan. you should be able to use the same spices and cooking methods, which is probably what makes the dishes appealing anyways. for example:

I was watching rachael ray today (she sometimes has something good), and she decided to make something thai and a vegan dessert, surprise!!! Instead of the beef, you can use seitan or tofu. then add a ton of veggies!!! she happened to use mushrooms and red bell peppers. the addins was fresh basil, mild chili pepper paste, soy sauce (instead of fish sauce), and yeah it sounded even better in my head!!!! besides their websites are even better cause it gives you an idea of what to substitute for what. this will encourage you to keep up with your vegan lifestyle. why not have what they are having? but without all the killer ingredients!! :D keep it up. i'm going to keep swinging till i get there too!!!!!
