Hi Michelle, I got it at my local organic store. It's Harvest Sun, totally organic and vegan! I love it, never was real fond of vegetable broth!! BTW, the link you sent re: the e-mail you wanted us to send went to Error.............

I love having a pot of soup at the ready all week for lunch and for those nights i just don't want to cook. It also helps me to make a big batch of oatmeal and leave it in the fridge just the same as your regular grains. That way I always have something good for breakfast! It's quicker than making a small batch every morning (and uses less pans) and it's infinitely healthier than the instant variety.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I've been meaning to do soups but have never done so in my life and am kinda imitated. I'm also thinking I won't be filled and that scares me b/c I get so hungry and shaky later if I'm not filled up from a previous meal. Also, I have my miso waiting in the fridge but I only have a daikon, wakame, nori and green cabbage, not all those other veggies. Should I make a soup with just those?

Esperanza

You can. I just made some miso soup for the first time and I didn't have very many ingredients, just some carrots, white onions, and green onions; while reading the tread, I added some brown rice, to make it a little more filling, I'm not going to the farmers market until tomorrow, so I didn't have too much to add to it. After reading this I will be eating a lot more soup!

I found this thread a great read too ... I am slowly getting more into soups now too as I bought a really good machine to blend it properly and it does come out just amazing and so colourful! I am amazed on the bright colours because before now I've only ever had 'packaged soup' ... bleh.

You've made me want soup tonight! : )
