Hi there! So sorry it took me so long to respond!! I have only been a vegetarian for about 3 months and it has been a fun journey. The key is to get excited about trying new recipes and to not beat yourself up when you mess up. My only real challenge has been cheese and I am slowly working on that!! I also checked out my local Natural Foods market and went to my first vegetarian club potluck. I was worried that it would be lame but it was so much fun! We exchanged recipes, asked questions, and watched the movie "Food Matters" and I met some really awesome people. My friends and co workers thought that I was going through a funny faze but now look forward to what I will cook up. I just wish that I'd lose some weight....at first I lost about 5 pounds but that's been about it. These forums also really help to answer my questions and to provide support.
