St. Catharines, Ontario Here. I've lived all across Ontario: Timmins, Minden, Haliburton, Markham, Scarborough. Anyone with some hidden treasures in the Niagara area would be great!

For those in the Ottawa/Gatineau Area, there is a fantastic vegan resto in Gatineau along the way to the Le Nordiq Spa. IT's a tiny house with a patio: Cafe, Herbe, Soup in Old Chelsea. I highly recommend!

Yes I am from Calgary!! I am not a total die hard Vegan but there are some great alternatives to Vegan in Calgary which is really nice. It's hard to be a vegan which I would prefer however, my husband loves meat, dairy etc. and I have a 21 month old daughter and 11 week old son which makes for a busy mom not to mention cooking two different dinners every night. So far he hasn't liked anything from Alicia's recipes but then again I am a beginner.

I am from Beaumont, AB; and have had a bit of trouble finding all of the things that I have seen in recipes. I am not yet vegan, but that is where I am headed for sure. I feel like I should have been vegetarian (at the least) my whole life, but my family is definitely a "meat and potatoes" type of family so the idea of going vegetarian was sort of scoffed at! I have been doing a lot of research and am really excited about my decision....I just wish it was easier to convert my littles!

I have had a bit of trouble with the whole tofu thing. I am not sure what I am looking for, or what to do with it once I do buy it....but I have found some really good veggie burgers and have tried some new veggies and am pretty happy with my progress...even if it isn't perfect.

K I'm late to this post too, just put one up on the Toronto thread. Koreans call daikon, Mu (as in moooo) and you can find it at Korean markets, the biggest I know of is P.A.T. It does have a "season" where it's less expensive but I always forget what time of year that is lol. Anyway, currently I'm in Saudi Arabia and can't wait to get home and get past flirting and into full vegan.

I am in Devon, AB and getting ready for full superhero!! I have had to order alot of my items, well worth it though! I have not tried any local restaurants in Edmonton... I'm having fun at home with converting my pantry and playing with recipes. The Kind Life Diet book pushed me from considering.. to flirting... to researching everything Macrobiotic. I have never felt so good about a decision in my life!

I'm in Toronto, and I can find basically anything here. I'm a bit worried though when I move to a small town in a year.
