This might be a silly question but are the umeboshi plums the pickled ones? I was able to find those at whole foods but I thought perhaps there would be fresh ones somewhere? Has anyone been able to find fresh ones in Chinatown or anything?
Hi all I am from Langley. I have been to choices, nice store. On commerical drive Sweet Cheribum has the plums. Capers on west 4th has loads of good stuff. Locally I too shop at IGA, Super Store and a Koren Market. Tessa you are a hop, skip and jump from Trader Joes in Bellingham :)

Hi there!
Anyone from the Montreal region? Any suggestions on where to get vegan ingredients?
Thanks!
Hi! I'm in Vancouver, (visiting family in Ontario right now) and I'll be out on Vancouver Island for the summer (Port McNeill). I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to find anything up there!
Hello,I am from Port Moody. The only place I found the umeboshi plums was at T&T. In the refrigerator section next to the steam buns and miso's. The yave them in little plastic lift top containers. They have a few different types but look for the one with no additives. I think we should all plan a potluck vegan dinner :-D
Hey fellow canadians.. I am from Ontario... cheers to you all.

Hello Michelle, I'm from Montreal. Nice to meet you.
Hello, I am also from Ontario, the Ottawa area, lovely to meet you!
I actually live abroad now, but if any of you are in Ottawa, go to the Green Door restaurant on Main Street. It has the most amazing food and desserts (nearly all vegan and macro) in a very unpretentious environment!Oh how I miss it! :)
Hi Kathryn!

Hey! I'm from Ontario too! St.Catharines to be exact.:)
