Hello. Thought I would say hello. I just started reading the book and so far I love it. I became a vegetarian a couple months ago and looking into being a vegan. I use to HATE vegetables when I was a meat and potatoes gal. They just tasted so nasty and dirty to me. Then after I gave up meat and a lot of dairy, vegetables tasted different to me. Tasted so good and refreshing. Now a couple months later, I feel more energetic and I crave veggies. One thing I noticed was the strength of my finger nails. They use to be so thin and flimsy, now they are so much stronger. It's amazing. My only problem now is my face breaking out and still feel a little unbalanced. That's a reason why I got "The Kind Diet".I hope to make some friends off of here and get so ideas for meals.

I felt the same about veggies. When I was eating meat, usually ate veggies because I was trying to set an example (Mom) - but I gave myself the minimum, and really didnt like it.
But now - - I find myself craving veggies and my taste buds have woken up! They are delicious to me now.
Yea, I think it's just crazy what your body can do. Plus, I learned that I use to hate cooked vegetables because when I first tried them, they were overcooked. Mushy, slimy and no taste, so I hated them. I loved slightly steamed veggies now. :D
