Acidic taste in my mouth

OK, so I've been trying the vegan thing for two weeks now. For the last several days, I've had a real acidic taste in my mouth. It almost feels as though I've burnt the roof of my mouth and my tongue. As you can imagine, it is really interfering with my enjoyment of the new foods I am trying. Could this have anything to do with giving up dairy? Is my body becoming too acidic? Thoughts?

A lot of times weird tastes in the mouth are due to the presence of something in abundance, like maybe you are taking multivitamin? When you increase your intake of vitamins through a lot of veggies and then ALSO add on a multivitamin or foods that add in vitamins and minerals you could be overdosing on some things.

The same thing has been happening to me. I thought I should take a vitamin w/B12. I stopped taking it though as I also had an acidic metally taste. I guess you can get too much of a good thing :-)))

Nope, I'm not taking a multivitamin, or a b12 supplement at the moment. Weird. Oh well, I see my doctor on Tuesday for a checkup, so I'll ask her opinion. Thanks anyway for your feedback.
