isn't vinegar way acidic? im kinda skeptical about using it on my face... ive done some hair rinses with apple cider vinegar but i try and keep it off my skin. but so many of you guys say how well it works. my skin is very combination-dry in some places, oily in others. its usually pretty great but trying to clear the last few problems up. dont want to make it worse. im realy loving (organic) rosehip oil as a moisturiser atm.

I am trying the combo of apple cider vinegar and water on my face tonight and will also drink some with water - good luck to all who wrote in with your search for what works for your skin!

Hmm this is a very interesting thread. I am an acne sufferer, since I was 14 (now 27) I am on dianette and antibiotics, which clears my skin up lovely but when I come off it about 6 months later its back to being 14 again, horrible skin and it doesnt go away. Interesting thoughts about the apple cider vinegar, think I might try that.

This sounds wimpy, I know that being on the antibiotics and pill is putting chemicals into my body but I dont want to come off them as then I feel I am going backwards, its a scary prospect. I am single and the my self confidence is not that great anyway so I know if I go off the pill etc that I definately wont find anyone!! Gah!

Hope everyone finds out what works for them!

i had the worst acne out of everyone i knew till i went vegan, so if you aren't vegan i suggest getting rid of dairy. it really really helps.

Hi-

I have tried everything that is cruelty free to treat my acne. And every time my skin would clear up and then get bad again. I did try Suki...her products are nice, but did not work for my skin. However, years ago I used Ole Henriksen products and loved them. I decided to try them again, after using Clinique for 8 months (Clinique is against animal testing) and I have not had a break-out in a month and my skin looks better than before birth control pills. Just go to their website and call them- they were very helpful.

Good Luck!

When I went off the pill I also experienced bad acne. What worked for me is washing my face with a pure glycerin soap and pure tea tree oil (a few drops on a cotten pad with water). I kept it really simple and stayed away from harsh acne products as they seemed to make problems worse (reddness and irratation). And of course sticking to a vegan diet and really watching my sugar intake.

Thank you both, I appreciate a lot. I eat high raw (80%) 100% vegan diet, so I am very carefull abot food. I try both brand suki and Dr. alkaitis. Suki has the complete line for acne prone skin,Dr. alkaitis no, but I like his products a lot. I just looking for someone who has try these both two lines for acne prone skin. If it helps. I have read many testimonials, but I want to find someone here:-)
