Okay so I'm super excited. I bought two candles from Way Out Wax http://www.wayoutwax.com/ which is a company that makes 100% based soy candles.

I am almost finished with them and I don't want to throw them out because I know there really aren't any glass recycling services here in NYC. Instead what I did was I contaced the company and asked them what I should do with the empty containers when they are done burning. They told me that since they are frosted glass they are meant to be reused for glasses. All I have to do it wash them out with warm soapy water. And they are good to go! So super cool!!! Also, if I collect twelve of them, for a small amount of cash, I can get them refilled with one scent.

Anyway, this company is great. They hand pour their wax and they believe in eco-friendly living.

Make sure to check out their site!!

I was wanting to order some as well, however, I have been learning a great deal about soy harvesting and how it massively adds to deforestation in Brazil. So much, that I drink Almond milk instead of soy, and hesitate to consume edamame! Does anyone know how to buy American only when purchasing soy based products?

Hey Bardgal! Another line of awesome soy, non-toxic candles w/ lead free wicks is www.lilahliving.com Their soy comes for US farmers and the candle glasses are recyclable, very cool. I also like to dip my fingers in and use the wax as a body oil. They also have a great body scrub.

I just tried A Scent of Scandal vegan soy wax candles. They are amazing! Funny names too, like D-cups, which has a scent of melons! Ha ha Smells wonderful while burning too, enough to scent the entire room.

If anyone lives in Australia and is interested Dusk has just brought out a new range of candles called Elements, powered by Green Wax. They look pretty neat!

Hi :)

I make and sell natural vegan soy candles.I am based in Australia but ship internationally. All of mine are hand-poured, chemical-free, cruelty-free, natural and Vegan. I am also PETA approved and in the process of getting Vegan Society approved. Be careful with some of the bigger brands / companies as they mix in lots of nasty stuff to their candles, and many are not vegan-friendly.

My website is under construction right now but if anyone wants to know more, email me at: info@greenritual.com.au.

The soy candles that I sell on my website, www.handmadegourmetsoycandles.com , are made from all-natural biodegradable soybeans that are grown by farmers in the USA. They are also made with pure/premium fragrances and lead-free cotton wicks. I also have massage candles that moisturizes your skin and leaves it silky smooth with a light delicate scent. Each soy candle is handmade and the fragrances are out of this world.

Hello, there!!! I am looking for a soy candles material in reasonable rates as you know these candles are sacred and pure so they are rare to find. Can you recommend something for me?
