Getting Married....must lose weight...need advice ASAP

Hello everyone :) I am getting married next July in Jamaica. I am currently 25 lbs over what I should be (or at least want to be). I feel completely gross and dread looking for a wedding dress and bikinis. I want to be in amazing shape by then and at least lose 15 lbs before I start even looking at gowns.

Does anyone have any good advice??? Exercise routines especially. I feel that's where I'm lacking...

stick with doing circuits and cardio with light weight lifting (toning). i don't know if you are vegetarian/vegan or not but in order to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you take in. i would recommend going vegetarian or vegan if you want to stay healthy, lose weight naturally and keep it off. :)

yea..dairy is what gets me too (cheese mostly)..i've been full vegan for 4 days now and i've dropped a couple pounds already..so definitely go that route! :)

just remember that cheese, all dairy really, is very fattening. I have lost a lot of weight, and I just go as raw as possible all day till dinner. I walk my dogs and take every opportunity to move. Went dancing with my new husband last night, that was so fun, and my legs are sore. Enjoy life to its fullest and everything else just falls into place. Congratulations on the engagement and wedding!!!!!!

what works for me is to remember that alot dairy has traces of blood and puss in it !! The poor dear cows are milked so mecilessly that they very often have bad mastitus ( oops spelliing ? ) which i know is veryyyyyyyy painful , having breastfed my son and had it from time to time.

So when i have an urge to sneak in a choc biscuit or piece of cheese i tell myself ' blood and puss' and talk myself out of the craving VERY quickly !!

Thanks girls...I really appreciate it! Blood and puss....GROSS. I actually knew that from reading TKD and The China Study. You'd think it would be easy to not ingest dairy....cheese is my arch nemisis. I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

I love "theFIRM" workout DVDs. My body started changing completely after 7 of their workouts. They are challenging, fun, and cheap. They mix your cardio and weight training together, so you literally are burning tons of calories and toning at the same time. I've tried all sorts of workouts and this is one DVD that I have stuck with, lost weight, and I actually have pretty shoulder muscles and a trim tight lower body too! I love the 500 calorie burn workout and I have another DVD with 4 of their other workouts. Their ball workout is great too (I picked up the ball with the DVD for $8 at TJmaxx.)
