I wish someone would have answered this!! I have been wondering the same thing. I have been Gum Free for about 2 weeks now, and am going crazy!!

Peta says there are some vegan gums - but not sure the makers are vegan companies necessarily. I was glad Big League Chew is vegan because I like to have a good chew every few years.

Holy cow, I know!! This is the one thing I mess up on as a vegan. I try to buy natural/vegan gum, but sometimes I break down and buy some Wrigley's. It's soooo bad for me, I know! smiley-yell.gif I'm a devoted vegan otherwise. Does anyone have any tips on breaking the habit?

There are vegan gums, you just need to look for them, many health food stores have some, what I did is look at the brands they have, go home and look them up online. Do not get discouraged, it exists! Also, to help stop wanting to chew non vegan gum, well once I learnt what was in non-vegan gum....and then I tried picturing myself chewing on it, over and over again........the desire dissapeared! (it's so freakin' gross!!!!!) Just like jello; learn about what's in it, even non-vegan ppl find it gross when I tell them!!! lol but still super gross

I chew Orbitz and it is good, especially the sweet mint, and it is listed on the PETA website given above.

Thanks for the advice. I think I may have a slight gum chewing addiction. I bought myself a huge load of Spry gum, and it helps. But i'd rather not chew gum at all, at least not as much as I do now. My habit is like finger nail biting! Most of the time I chew too much when I'm nervous or bored. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I could do to refrain in those situations? It would be GREATLY appreciated. This habit is getting expensive!

Uh...the only thing I could reccomend is maybe drink water? But I know the feeling. I've been "addicted" for like 2 years now. About a pack of stride a day!!
