Beauty Products I love...

I thought I would post some products I love...I am not a strict vegan product user since I have had some reactions from some natural products I have tried (mostly lip products but some breakouts from face products). I look for a vegan / animal friendly product but if I don't find one I like or can use then I go with what works. The only thing I am strict about is animal friendly companies and paraben free. I have tried many products and here are some I love....
Body Lotion - Deep Steep ...(unscented) Body Lotion
Bar Soap - Longview Farms ... All Natural Emu Oil Soap (they have two types of bar soaps and I love them both)
Face Wash - I use DHC...Deep Cleansing Oil then Luvalla Certified Organic ....Hydrating Milk Cleanser (Age Defying), I also use Obagi Cleanser.
Moisturizers - DHC...Olive Oil (I use this over my moisturizer during the day); Argan Oils...Empower, Protect and Preserve (I use this at night over my moisturizer) you can buy this one on Amazon
Retin A
Sunscreen - Solar Protection Formula...Tizo3 SPF 40...I prefer the tinted formula (if you decide to try this one ...a piece of advice, the more moisturized your face is the easier it goes on). I use my moisturzer then a little olive oil then the sunscreen. LOVE THIS...
Foundation - Everyday Minerals...Base (used to use), I use Dermaquest now and love it so much more (liquid)...there are tricks to using it so it goes on really nice and very natural (put olive oil on first then the makeup)
Bronzer - Everday Minerals...Soft Bronzer (used to use), now Dermaquest
Concealor - Mineral Fusion (used to use), now Dermaquest
I know some people may not feel that Retinols and Glycolics are natural or are too harsh for the face but they are so good for anti-aging. I think they make a big difference in your complexion.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

What is DHC? Do they have a website? I really want to swich my skincare. I have gone from organic/natural back to clinique so many times because I have sensitive skin and cannot find a good organic/natural brand on the market!

I am having tons of issues with natural face products. I have posted about this before, but I found a FANTASTIC Tinted Moisturizer by Kiss My Face, that is great for those of you that wear foundation, but want something less for the summer time. Unfortuantely, it has been over a month, and I have consistently broken out all over my nose and chin- once 3 diminsh about 4 pop up. And before I hadn't had a zit for years, besides maybe a small little one here and there. So I think I have to revert back to what I was using previously. Unfortuantely I'd rather have my clear skin back for now, but will continue to experiment with some more all natural products.
BUT, i did find a great conditioner. It is by Desert Essence, and it is their Coconut Conditioner. I have really long fine blonde hair, but it still gets knotted. This conditioner smoothes it out so nicely, and doesn't weigh my hair down. Plus, sometimes I like to let it airdry so my natural waves come out, and this makes my hair so lush.
I really recommend trying this out. YOu can buy it off their web site, or, I bought mine from Sprouts!
Emu Oil comes from the fat of the Emu bird. It is simlar to an ostrich and lives in Australia. It is not vegetarian OR vegan.
I have a stylish and super soft vegan friendly cosmetic bag to carry all your wonderful beauty products in. My short story-- traveled a lot, had a hard time keeping the inside of my cosmetic bag clean. Designed my own bag with an eco friendly removable liner. Functional doesn't mean ugly so the cosmetic bag is beautiful and luxurious. My website is www.vemayca.com. Thanks for checking it out!!
Effortless Beauty Organics has the most amazing organic deodorant ever. All natural pure undiluted essential oils that are applied with a roll-on applicator. Once you try their deodorant you will never use anything else ever again. The best scent is butterfly kiss, it smells so fresh and clean...everyone will ask you what you are wearing.
They also have the most amazing cuticle oil that this all vegan, raw, organic and makes your nails look amazing.

Hi - I would love to introduce ya'll to Sappho Cosmetics. All our products are 100% free of synthetic chemicals and our liquid bases have not only been hand colored to match real actresses skin tones but are preserved entirely with organic essential oils! While Head of the Makeup Dept. on the L Word and after much research I realized that with all consciousness I could no longer keep working unless I could offer an alternative to actors that was not chemically laden and would look good on film. Tested on movie stars not animals, I along with some very smartiepants scientists developed a liquid mineral base that smells, looks and feels incredible. It has been and is being used on many productions ie Eclipse, New Moon, The A Team, The Big Year, Tower Prep, Caprica etc etc and is celebrity and makeup artist endorsed. Our site has lots of great research under why sappho ~ articles, a free downloadble makeup course, testimonials and by the end of July our new site will be rocking with a new look, sappho photo shoots, beauty, news, art, music, store locators etc
We believe in 100% disclosure of all ingredients, our packaging is designed for reclyability and utility and we promise to keep working at lessening our footprint and remaining a positive prescence in this world. Please check us out www.sapphocosmetics.com
Hi. I love using essential oils as skincare. You can buy premixed oils or find recipes and make your own. Green Tea leaves make a great antioxidant facial steam and toner. I really love Mountain Rose Herbs. They have a skincare kit that you can buy for $24.00, it comes with a herbal steam, cleansing grains, clay mask, facial oil blend and rose water - all that for $24.00 so it is a great way to try herbs and oils and see if you like them. They have a great selection of teas also.
Paul Mitchell's modern elixers line is great! It's all natural and is WONDERFUL for your hair! I personally love the bodifying line and the serum. Right now I am currently in talks with the company to extend the Modern Elixers line to include more products and possibly even it's own color line! And hopefully they will start marketing it as vegan as well! The fact that finding a proffessional vegan hair care line is SO hard to do is ridiculous! We shouldn't have to research for hours and send countless e-mails to the head of every company to find what we can and can't use! You can find the modern elixers line at pretty much any professional salon that carries paul mitchell products and if they dont have it on the shelves, they can order it for you! Beware, if you find the line in any grocery stores or pretty much outside of a salon, it's probably either ridiculously old or tampered with. Be safe and stick with a salon purchase! I'll keep you guys updated on the line and hopefully bring back good news of an extended line and vegan color!
