Can TKD Help with Adrenal Fatigue/Exhaustion?

I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with TKD/ a vegan diet curing adrenal disorders? I am pretty sure that is what I am dealing with, but my doctor said that it is not really something you can diagnose because it is not "technically" considered a disease. That only holistic practitioners really consider it to be one. Anyhoo-regardless of whether the medical community acknowledges it-I still have the symptoms (extreme fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, digestive issues, inability to settle down and chill out, nutritional deficiencies, auto-immune disease [Raynaud's syndrome], etc.). I have been flirting for while now and have noticed some improvements, so this is encouraging-I guess I am just looking for a success story to further motivate me! Thanks in advance for any input:)
I too suffer from adrenal fatigue and diet can TOTALLY help. The way to get better is to put yourself first (easier said than done). You NEED to make the time to eat well, exercise (though not too strenuously when in an an active episode). Try to get as mush cleep as you can (I have trouble with this too). I think once we have had adrenal fatigue we will always need to be mindful of our health.
I would suggest that you find an MD who does acknowledge Adrenal Fatigue. I found on here in SoCal. Where are you located? If you have Adrenal Fatigue, then your hormones are out of whack and you will need to get them in control. If you need to take any hormones, make sure they are bioidentical...synthetic ones will damage your further.
There is a great book that can guide you through this by Dr. Wilson

My doctor had me read this book when I was diagnosed.
Best of luck.
Hi all,
The reason that the diagnosis of adrenal fatigue is not universally recognized is the difficulty in finding reliable and repeatable diagnostic criteria. I am an acupuncturist and am commonly told by my patients that they have it. They are often told this by the health food store worker or chiropractor that they see. he diagnosis is based on a set of symptoms. Many factors can cause these symptoms.
I would advise caution when considering hormone replacement and have been unimpressed with the description of so-called bio-identical hormones.
The superhero plan is the best way to treat these symptoms. Metabolism is often the key to the proper functioning of the organs and their systems. Energy is the first thing to improve when you get the diet right for you. Consider trying the superhero plan for a month and see if you improve. Many patients do.
I also have been told that I have adrenal fatigue. I have been unhealthy for almost two years and am only now starting to feel as though I am getting better after having results confirm my hormones are all out of balance. although my energy levels have gone up and my anxiety has become less I still react strongly to alcohol. after a single drink i react with heart palpitations , tight chest etc. My reaction becomes very strong when i go to bed. It is a very strange and uncomfortable feeling, as if i have taken drugs or something. I am curious if others with adrenal fatigue have the same reaction to alcohol? I have read adrenal fatigue by Dr. Wilson and understand that alcohol is awful for people with adrenal fatigue but am hoping for some kind of explanation or success story that this will go away and i can someday have a nice glass of red with dinner with out feeling like im dying later that night.
Alcohol is sugar on steroids. Negative reactions to it are common and yet your reaction may result from another ingredient in the wine. Have you tried an organic wine that was produced without added sulfites?
I recently discovered I had adrenal fatigue along with years of under treated hypothyroidis. This site http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info has helped me and my doctor with a plan of action. The site is mainly for hypothyroidism, but the section on adrenals applies to those with or without a thyroid problem. My adrenal fatigue is so severe that 4 months of superhero didn't improve my fatigue.
Thank to everyone that has responded so far! @ fitmom- I have checked out that website and he has TONS of info on there! @ Justin Bean- I am actually afraid to take any type of hormones-synthetic or bioidentical-because I think they are the cause of this in the first place. I was on the pill for almost 13 years and my naturopath strongly believes that is the culprit for me. she has advised me to stay away from anything that can affect my hormones (i.e. soy products) until I am leveled out again. She has increased my b-vitamins and minerals (magnesium. calcium) and I am to be avoiding sugar, alcohol and caffeine at all costs. It has taken well over a year, but compared to where I was last year I am worlds better now!!!! I think when you have that much damage it takes a while for the good stuff to build back up again. Still not better, but slowly getting there :)
simone: i also have the same problem with alcohol and i'll stay up all night like i'm on bad drugs. I wear a pendant that i got from a guy by the name of Fred Van Liewfrom ependanddeal.com. It has helped tremendously with adrenal fatigue and saggy arm skin that is a sign of adrenal fatigue. I can't remember all the details i have had it for about 2 yrs now but the site expllains all what it does and how it works. It also comes with a edot to put on your cell phone to protect u from radiation and the pendand for $118 i think. It really works, for severe adrenal fatigue i had to start slow by wearing it only 30 min a day and go up from there because it makes u dizzy and weird at first while your body gets back to normal but after that i feel great. I can really tell a diff when i forget to wear it a couple days. U can also carry it in pocket if it don't match what your wearing that day. Lol but it kinda matches everything, i wear it every day and get compliments on it daily
