I need some help : (

Yesterday, my husband found a bee's nest in the ground in our backyard. We have three young children and a dog who play in the yard, and I'm horribly, awfully, terribly allergic to biting and/or stinging insects. Pest control will kill them. I can't be around them without risking my health, our dog was stung yesterday (just once, and she's ok), and I can't risk that one of my children will react to a bee sting the way I do. Is there an alternative to an exterminator?

Sarah, there are many bee removal professionals who can do this humanely. I'm not sure where you live, but if you go to google or another search engine and look for, professional bee removal or humane bee removal (city/state) or anything along that line of text, you'll be able to find someone.

I am not sure where you live, but you can go to www.greenanimalcontrol.com they may be able to help you. They are an eco friendly humane animal control/removal company and they state on their website they handle insects as well. Even ants! ..Good Luck to you I empathise 100% very allergic to bees but I do not kill anything...Even in the house my method is always trap and release no matter what!

Removing a bee's nest from anywhere in or on a house requires professional expertise, as protective equipment, professional sprays and experience are necessary to safely remove the hive and all remains from the area. Call a professional to remove a bee hive.
