I really feel like I am the only vegan in Cleveland. Ever since I started the vegan diet, I have had a really hard time finding a lot of the ingredients to most of the recipes. I really would like to go full blown Superhero, but I cannot find asian sea vegetables, daikon, or umeboshi anything! Can someone please help me? I can't wait to try the weight loss drink...
I live near Cleveland and I know exactly what you mean! I've been a vegetarian for 3 years now and have decided to try being vegan and it's so hard to find a lot of the ingredients for recipes. I've tried Mustard Seed and Heinen's, I'm hoping Whole Foods will have something.
I'm in Cleveland, I'm in Cleveland! ::jumping up and down:: Hit up the Whole Foods in Cleveland Heights on Cedar Road. There is also a great health food store called Nature's Bin in Lakewood on Sloane Avenue.
Hi! I am a Cleveland westsider and I am new to veganism. My husband and I have been "flirting" during the month of June and we go all-out on Tuesday. I plan on hitting Nature's Bin this week since I am off work and I have found some good stuff at Trader Joe's at Crocker Park in Westlake.
I don't know any vegans (and only one vegetarian) so it would be nice for some local support!
i'm moving to cleveland to start grad school in two weeks and have been trying out veganism for a week now. i am really looking forward to exploring cleveland for vegan food and talking to you all about it!
