Problems with changing login email

I have updated my email since I started on this site, and I would like to change my login to my new email. I've changed my email and deleted the old, but I still have to sign in with my old email. It is late...am I just totally missing it here??

You do still have to login with your old email but you can have all the notifications from the site sent to your new email by adding a new email in Edit my profile->Email Addresses and then changing your email preferences in Edit my profile->Email Notifications (if you haven't done this already)
