Does brown rice need to be soaked before pressure cooking?

Are you talking about a rice cooker? The first time I made mine in my rice cooker it came out crunchy.... I finally figured out that I needed to add more water. So I will add 1 cup uncooked rice and 3 cups of water instead of 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water (if I were making it on the stove top). I hope this helps!!!! You can soak it too, but this is more of a short cut.

No, I mean a pressure cooker. I tried it last night after a multi-hour soak and it was perfect. I would like to know if the soak was necessary.

No, you don't have to soak before pressure cooking. We do 3 cups of rice with 6 cups of water for 15-20 minutes and it is perfect.

I don't soak either - 16mins and it's done!
