Alicia's Coffee Fudge Brownies (soupy)

I'm trying to make these brownies for my dad's b-day. They seemed very soupy when I put them in the oven and I've not baked them for about 40 min and counting(the recipe says to bake for 25-30). Has anyone else had trouble with this or do they finally set up? Right now they are still very soupy although the top has crusted over. The only thing I subbed was I used olive oil instead of canola and almond milk instead of rice/soy blend.
Thanks!
Hey Nicole,
Good to know I'm not the only one with issues. :) Mine look terrible, but surprisingly don't taste too bad. I ended up baking them for a little over an hour (lost track of how long exactly since I kept adding minutes to the timer). The middle is sunken in and I was afraid the edges were going to taste burnt, but the flavor isn't too bad. Like you said, presentation is not good. Was making them for my dad for his birthday...he won't care what they look like as long as it's chocolate and healthy(ish). :)
I haven't put the glaze on and probably won't mess with it. I'm thinking if I make them again, I may omit some of the oil and try either egg substitute or flax gel. Maybe that would make them set up better.
