Hey guys and gals,

Just wondering if any of you can recommend a brand of vegan and tea tree oil-free cream for eczema. Eliminating all animal products has definitely made a difference, but I still need some extra help! :o)

The only thing that made my eczema clear up (and now when i have a reaction it is much milder) was doing the master cleanse for ten days.

Giovanni's cucumber song lotion is very nice for dry skin itchiness though or pure shea butter if you need something more. You could mix a few drops of lavender essential oil into it for extra calming, and some calendula for healing.

Anna-you said you elimated animal products-THAT IS AWESOME! I am a breastfeeding mom and my son suffered from a little eczema-until I rid my diet of all milk protein. The list of milk protein is extensive, and is often hidden in many, MANY things. This website is a breastfeeding website but contains a list of hidden milk proteins. Since cutting all of this out, my son has not had any problems with eczema at all! http://www.kellymom.com/babyconcerns/food-sensitivity.html#protein

I don't know if this will help at all but I hope so!!!

Hi Anna Kat!

Calendula cream is beautiful for eczema skin conditions!

If you can get some Calendula oil, you can add it to a base cream that suits you -for example Vegesorb.

Hope you find what works for you:)

and don't forget that you can hit it internally not just with eliminating the dairy and meat, but by adding in stuff like omega oils - if you don't take it already, look into something like Udos choice. The omegas have all these great anti-inflamatory properties and I've seen people with skin stuff really get great response to adding them in.
