I've been vegan for just about 2 1/2 weeks now, since June 4, and I can't believe how great I feel on this diet already! My digestive system has been really happy, my skin is clearing up, I've lost about 5 lbs without trying, my workouts have been easier, and I have a ton of energy! My primary reason for going vegan was to boycott factory farming (read Eating Animals!) but I'm thrilled by the health benefits.
I had always heard about how different people felt after they cut out animal products but it wasn't until I had actually done it myself that I really understood what they meant. The feelng is just amazing, isn't it?
