Hi I own a chocolate company with my mom called Chocolate Inspirations - a few months ago we had a journalist do a pole of what candy did vegans miss since becoming a vegan and she shared with us the results - Butterfingers. Well, my mom the chocolatier went to work and created Peanut Butter Pillows that are delicious and 100% Vegan. In need of another challenge - she asked me to post this poll here and ask all of you - what candy do you miss?

I miss bit o honeys all the time! they're just so sweet and delicious! I haven't had one in nearly 2 years. I also really miss kit kats.

I used to like Peeps at Easter and also the Reeses peanut butter filled eggs. Mmm. Cadbury eggs were good too. Apparently I miss Easter candy!

Milky Ways, definitely. Right after (and I mean, like, a week after) I became a vegan they introduced the all-caramel Milky Ways. I could have cried! I miss caramel in general, and milk chocolate. Dark chocolate just isn't the same.

Erica, at Whole Foods they sell something like a Milky Way I think in the chocolate section. Can't remember who make them, but they have Snickers substitutes and Almond Joy too. I haven't tried them yet, but thought you would want to know!

Buccaneer, Jokerz, Twilight & Mahalo by Go Max Go Foods, unfortunately we are not all privelidged to live near a Whole Foods who orders this product. The nearest to Kansas City is outside St. Louis. Wah-wahhn.

Catconsrv... there is now an Erica-sized path of destruction between here and the nearest Whole Foods. I am soooooo there! Thanks! smiley-laughing.gif

I have checked out the Whole Foods chocolate sections from time to time. I have to say it's pretty pricey- $6 is a lot for a candy bar, but if it's only an occasional candy bar I'm sure it's fine.

OMG, just plain ol milk chocolate! and carmel! peanut butter cups in TKD are wonderful so I'm satisfied there. nothing like a milk chocolate covered caramel something or other.
