I just made my first KL meal!

Hello I am absolutely new to all of this and have never attempted anything like it before. But I read TKD and it made sense for me personally, globally and healthwise. I have a family I care deeply for and want the best for them all. So tonight I took the plunge. I made thin mushroom pizza, rice with tomato, basil and lemon and a ceasar salad. The pizza was a huge hit. My seven year old ate four pieces. The ceasar was a flop as I made it with too much garlic and the rice dish was light and refreshing. My five year old ate nothing but corn (big surprise) but thats ok. My eighty year old dad ate everything as did my husband. So although it was not perfect, it tried it and everyone ate something. I am flirting and will try my best to continue...
Kudos to you! I made the summer succotash this morning and had it with whole grain organic brown rice for lunch. It was yummy! and really easy to make :) Good luck. I'm on Day 6
Good Job girls! For lunch I made yummy udon noodle miso soup and I personally added fresh spinach and asparagus on top, my husband loved it. I have to say I was clueless before reading TKD and am repulsed by the thought of how cruel farm animals are being treated and how people continue to eat process foods without realizing how bad they are for you. Now I feel like I'm on the outside looking in, I'm ready to spread the word.
