Perfect coffee substitute!

Has anyone tried teeccino? This stuff is AMAZING! How did I not know about this before? I have been trying to kick the coffee habit with no luck. We are planning on trying to conceive in a few months and I keep putting my "give up coffee" on the back burner. I bought a bag of hazelnut teeccino and it brews just like coffee and is delicious! I'm assuming this would be safe during pregnancy? There is no caffeine and it is made from carob, barley, dates, nuts, etc.
I haven't tried teeccino Marie, but I have to tell you - I mis-read your post as "has anyone tried tobacco?" - I'm still laughing.....yes, smoking a pack of Luckys will certainly be a great coffee substitute! I think I've been substance free a little bit too long.....!!!
I love Teeccino! I am pretty sure it is safe during pregnancy... Do you mix anything in with it or just drink it straight?
Marie,
I just went to http://www.teeccino.com/ to check out this product, as I'm trying to get off my decaf. The website says "Teeccino is safe for pregnant women who want to drink 'coffee' without any caffeine. Recommended by healthcare practitioners and midwives." I saw it right on the main page.
Thanks for your recommendation-- I'm going to try it!
Thanks everyone and thanks for the info! It is so good! It does come in a lot of flavors. It's a little sweet so I don't really need to add much sugar at all. Trying to cut down on that also. I've tried it iced also and it's a nice treat that's a lot healthier for you than many other drinks.
Marie,
I have never tried or even heard of teeccino before. I checked out the link above and it looks amazing. In the past couple years I have been drinking too much coffee and look forward to giving this a try. Love yerba mate' but sometimes I just crave coffee for it's taste and aroma. If something can come close and have a health bonus, I'm there. Thanks for the post. Really looking forward to this.
About coffee; I was looking for something simular... not only in taste but also in ritual. I found LIMA Yannoh filter coffee. It is made of barley and other. Important for me is that I do exactly the same things as with coffee, boil water, put Lima Yannoh in a filter and make coffee. I boil the plantmilk ofcouse and make a "cappuccino" .
It really does give me the same feeling as coffee used too :) I think also i have tricked my body because i have no withdrawal symptoms :)
So happy because I dont know if I could have stopped the coffee without it....
For instant -coffee look here:

I can really suggest this to all of you who have trouble quiting coffee!
:))))
