Hello. I have been on the hunt for a good vegan toner for my acne-prone skin. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a particular brand or product. I have tried the Aubrey Organics Blue Green Algae Toner (which made me break out horribly because it has a coconut oil base), Humphrey's Witch Hazel (lavender, cucumber, tea tree, almost all of them really), apple cider vinegar, and a few others without much success. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Lemon Mint Toner; bodytime.com located in Berkeley, CA

Product DescriptionA mild, low-alcohol astringent designed for combination, normal and oily skin types. Effectively tones the skin without stripping it or overly drying it out. Contains a variety of herbal extracts including healing and soothing aloe vera, nettle, yarrow, rosemary, birch, sage and clover blossom as well as moisturizing glycerin and antibacterial allantoin, to clean and protect the skin. We've also added panthenol not only for its skin softening effects but also because the skin is able to convert it to vitamin B5. Excellent for removing the last traces of cream or soap following cleansing, or for a quick cleanup during the day. Natural lemon and peppermint oils are mildly astringent and they give this product its cooling and refreshing fragrance. No synthetic color or fragrance added.

To use: Squirt a liberal amount of toner on a cosmetic sponge and wipe face and neck area to remove leftover cleanser after washing or during the day to remove dirt and grime for a quick, refreshing clean up. This product contains alcohol, therefore it may sting if it comes in contact with broken skin.

Contains: Purified water, SD alcohol 40B, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, polysorbate 20, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, birch leaf extract, birch sap extract, butylene glycol, calcium pantothenate, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil, clover blossom extract, coltsfoot extract, ethoxydiglycol, horsetail extract, inositol, nettle extract, propylene glycol, rosemary extract, sage extract, yarrow extract, allantoin, Mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, panthenol, citric acid.

I own an organic skincare company called Golden Path Alchemy and our two toners are both Vegan and cruelty-free. They are amamzing - you mentioned that you have acne-prone skin. Our Purify Toner rocks! We even use a tiny bit of Himalayan pink sea salt with manuka essential oil, bergamot and lavender. We have our own organic garden in Montecito, CA where we handmake hydrosols in an antique copper still. Here is the link to the toner! http://www.goldenpathalchemy.com/purify/purify_toner.html I can give you a coupon code too for all Kind Lifers good for 20% off - just enter thekindlife at checkout and that is good for all of our products.

Arbonne makes a great vegan toner for acne-prone skin. It's alcohol-free and contains .5% solicylic acid. Also contains hazel, alfalfa, dandelion leaf, licorice root, orange peel, orange fruit, mallow flower, hops extract, sugar cane, sugar maple, lemon fruit, etc. Cost = $16.50.

I've heard good things about Arbonne. Are they only available online though?
