Vegan Weddings?

Hello Kind Lifers!
I just got engaged a few weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking for resources to help me plan my wedding as eco-friendly and vegan as possible. Has anyone out there attempted this or can anyone steer me in a direction that would help me plan? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you go to healthyhippie.net and click on the digital magazine for June/July, there are some helpful eco-friendly ideas for weddings. I don't think there was anything on being vegan, but the eco-friendly ideas were pretty good. Hope that helps!

Have you had the chance to check out theknot.com yet? IT's really great! My cousin just got married and has a lot of veggie friends so she wanted to make sure to have a vegan option for her menu! You can look up a bunch of caterers and what their typical menu's are and stuff:) I'm not sure where you're located but I know that by me (Chicagoland area) has a couple really great vegan bakeries, and bakeries that make vegan cakes :) Hope this helps!
Check out the website for VegNews . . . there is a whole part on Vegan weddings this month right on the homepage with stories from other people. You might get some info there. Otherwise, google vegan caterers in your area or maybe you can search on HappyCow.com. Good luck!
Thanks everyone! I live in Iowa but we are thinking of having the celebration in the mountains in PA...so being that I am not from PA and quite a ways away I would look for caterers in that area. I just signed on to theknot.com and will be checking out the other suggestions! Thanks!
