Need help finding vegan friendly job!

Hi all!
I thought I'd reach out to my fellow Kind-lifers and give this a go.
I recently left my serving job in Los Angeles because I just couldn't serve meat/dairy any longer. I've found some part-time promotional work but it's not enough to pay the bills :(
I have 8 years of fast paced serving experience. I'm VERY reliable, friendly, hard-working...
I have tried submitting my resume to various Vegan restaurants but it seems it's easier to land a sitcom role than a serving job!
Any thoughts or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated as I don't want to go back to serving meat/dairy! Thank you fellow Kind-lifers. :)
I work as a dietitian in a hospital where I have to counsel patients on how to choose the right type food...this includes giving advise on animal foods as I have yet to convince a patient to become vegan. It comes with the territory of my job, but at least I can give my advise. Good luck finding a job that better suites you.
I have worked at Whole Foods for 5 years - it's a wonderful company! We do sell animal products, but also carry MANY vegan products. It's a cool way to meet other vegans and to share your experiences! Lots of support from others who work there for a vegan diet and lifestyle...
Did you apply for a sampling possition with WayFare? It sounds like you have terrific experience for what we're looking for initially! It starts out part time but can become full time. There is very good potential for growth within WayFare. Please see our thread in this forum.
