Coconut Oil is incredible!!

I recommend coconut oil for everyone, because it is one of the most versatile products I have found that is organic. I use it as a makeup remover, a moisturizer, hair treatment, lip balm, bath soak, and I even use it in cooking. It is inexpensive and can be found at any natural food store. A little tiny bit goes a long way, it is very affordable and will last you a long time. I recommend coconut oil to everyone !! :)

It is great for green students on the student budget.

I couldn't agree with you more Jocelyn! I recently rubbed it on a skin rash I had on my forehead and it cleared it right up. I love coating veggies & chickpeas in coconut oil and baking them on a cookie sheet for 40 mins. Mmm! Tastes like candy! Just make sure you don't cook them over 325 degrees as it spoils above that temp.

Oh I didn't know that it spoiled past that temperature! Thanks for the tip, I guess you learn something new everyday :) I haven't baked with it in the oven like that, just in a pan, but I will have to try that, do you have any particular recipe that you especially like? and what temperature do you cook it at when you bake your veggies and chickpeas?

I adore coconut oil! I even use it as deodorant and am always amazed at how well it works!

I made kale chips with coconut oil and sea salt recently, very yum! I am also a huge fan of making hot cacao with raw cacao, coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla, pinch of sea salt, and water.

You can seriously do anything with it. It's a shame so many people have been fooled into thinking it is unhealthy. Medium chain fatty acids rock!

I love it for popcorn. Just put some in the pot with the popcorn and heat until popped then add a bit of sea salt.... so yummy for movie nights. :)

I can't wait to try the veggies and chickpeas idea, thanks Melissa!

I love it on popcorn too! can't wait to try it on the veggies and chickpeas. Im glad you told me about the deodorant I would have never thought to use it as a deodorant! This is great because sometimes in the summer months my underarms get raw from shaving and sweating so using the coconut oil will be really helpful :) thanks for the tip !

This is a great article for those that are worried that coconut oil is bad for you....really, I don't know why researchers keep saying that natural, plant-based foods like avocados and coconut oil are bad for you and they don't say that milk, eggs, and meat are bad for you! Crazyness! Moderation is the key.

I love coconut oil. I use it for so many things, my hair my skin. I've been using it on my face no problem and find it helps clear up my skin. I cook with it, fry in it, I just made frosting with it.

I use coconut oil on my face and have never had a pore-clogging issue. Terra- where did you get that information? It has worked wonders as a facial moisturizer for me :-)
