So, I just moved to the Memphis, TN area from San Francisco and finding vegan ANYTHING is pretty tough around here. However, I was shopping at my local Whole Foods this weekend and there were two women shopping, holding The Kind Life aloft and using it to guide them through the market as they perused all the produce and the bins of grains and beans. ! It was so cute - they had a million little flags and post-it stickies attached to pertinent pages ad they were leafing through it the whole time they were at the store. Like I said, not life changing or anything for you all, but I was tickled that the vegan message is spreading aaallll the way out here in Tennessee. Plus, I loved how seriously they were taking things, bringing Alicia's book to the store to use as a happy little vegan sherpa as they navigated a new lifestyle.

those two ladies sound like me! i'm still learning. thank you alicia for writing this book it has opened upa whole new world i didn't know existed.
