Hi..I am just finishing my first week of my new Vegan lifestyle..The book is really helping me..I guess I am just feeling a little bad right now..because of my body adjusting itself.I know that I will start to feel better soon.Thats whats keeping me going. I am hoping to meet some new friends on here because I have no one in my life that is doing anything like this..and know I am going to need support!! I took no baby steps and dove right in..totally right away..Wow am I amazed when I read the ingredients now in the things that I used to eat. I am so excited to continue on this journey to a better me..So here I go :)
Wendy Lee...Welcome to the Vegan life. I became a Vegan right before Thanksgiving 09. I too just dove right in and went for it. I live with 4 non-vegan guys, and it is tough sometimes.it is very hard. They are all supportive, but even after 9 months they try to get me to eat stuff, or comment on what I do eat. I lost 30 pounds, stopped having MS symptoms, and feel a ton better. My only advice is to make sure you take B12 supplements, but be careful they are Vegan. I love my lifestyle, and would not change a thing. I can promise you one thing...I will never eat animal products again. I wish you all the best. You will start to feel amazing, it may take a minute, but it is so worth it!!!
