Hi Alicia,
I have been having a little trouble with breads. I am gluten free and all of the prepared breads that I can purchase always have eggs, if not dairy, in them. I wouldn't mind making my own bread from scratch but I do not have a really good recipe.
What is your key for avoiding animal products in your bread? Especially those bought in the bakery?
Thanks!
I've never quite thought of breads as having animal products in them, I normally buy organic whole wheat bread of German wheat bread but that's because I'm not celiac. Didn't Alicia comment within her book somewhere about this, that if you can't tolerate gluten you stick to whole grains (not processed like in bread) and eventually you will be able to tolerate it in bread? I remember something like that but can't remember what section it was in. Is it possible to cut out bread from your diet?
