I m from southwest virginia, I lovenly called it the sticks, lol. Hence fo I am a bit worried about transissioning to the vegan life. we have absolutly no whole health food stores around here, however we do have a Natural earth store, I go by vitamins there, and the product;s claimed to be organic are super expensive. So what is a person to do, to get started? Since November of 2009 my hubby and I had started on a No Fat, No dairy, No processed food diet plan , but we do get to eat 9 oz of protein a day, also getting B12 and B6 shots once a week to burn fat. We have both lost 70 pounds so far, and still have about another 90 to go. In reading the book now I am floored about animal products. Specially about the feed of mass producers, Cats and Dogs? really. that will haunt me tonight, specially since we adopted a cute rescue Lab bout 6 month ago. Now more than ever I want to become a vegan. An suggestions, about how I can get the variety without having access to whole food chains?
