Lisa,

Have you tried REN's body care products? Looking for a new body lotion.

Thanks!

It took me about months to totally detox, now my skin is doing great. I started using grateful body products. Love the line it's vegan and just delish! It's a handcrafted botanical skin care line

Hi Anne, I hope you don't mind me putting in my 2 cents worth but I am in the skin care business and you should be really careful with the Ren products. If you read the ingredients there is a lot of things that are a "source" of whatever should be natural. Doesn't mean it is still in it's natural state. May have been natural when they started but these products get heated up to high temps. which eliminates most of the natural ingrediants you want. I work for OLIVIER soaps and skin care products and these are 100% natural. Every ingredient you read you kow exactly what it is. They are based out of Canada which is good because they have stricter guidelines when it comes to cosmetices. If you go to www.cosmeticdatabase.com and put in both Ren and Olivier you will see the toxicity levels of their products. Here is my recommendations for my products: Includes:
Tea Tree Soap, Exfoliant soap, Body Scrub (Twice a week, body only) , Baby cream, Body toner

Check each product out at www.oliviersoaps.com. You will see they are all 100% natural and all products are backed with 100% gaurantee. The baby cream has Calendula in it which has healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Check it out and let me know what you think. My USA website is www.michelle-oliviersoaps.com. I promise you I bet this will do the trick. I hope this helps.

anne: ren is a little pricey, but if you dont like it you can always return it. sephora has a great return policy. as for going to the dermatologist...be careful! i have/had candida and and it is caused by too many antibiotics (amongst other things). i used to take so many antibiotics for my acne, which honestly didn't even help, and in then end made me break out more. not saying you will have the same issue, just be careful! a normal dermatologist wont figure out WHY you're getting acne, they are just going to give you something to try to stop it. good luck!

Ren is also great because they don't test on animals, and don't purchase ingredients from anyone who tests on animals. Plus, except for honey and one other thing (I forget now), they're vegan.
