So my salon is hosting a Martinis and Make Up in the Chicago Suburbs. I volunteered to make some finger foods (since the make up is vegan I thought why not make some vegan treats for everyone!) and so far i'll be making chocolate covered strawberrys, TKD mini peanut butter cups, and a veggie tray with hummus. I want to have a few different savory things and i'm drawing a blank!

Hi girl! :) Woohoo, Oct. 1 is-a-comin - LOL How about this - maybe I can help: Do you want me to make some finger sanwiches or..oooh, I can do rollups...I can spread some tortillas with seasoned/spiced up Tofutti cream cheese and maybe some finely chopped spinach or cucumber or such, roll it all up, slice it and serve it with a dipping sauce?

How about fresh spring rolls. So easy. Just wet some store bought rice paper. Fill with cucumbers, zucchini, shredded carrot, cilantro, avacado....really anything you like. Fold in ends and roll up. Cut and serve with sweet chile sauce. Not superhero, but vegan and YUMMY!

I LOVE olives, little mini felafels . . . sometimes I stuff dried fruit with nuts, like salted macadamia nuts in dried apricot halves, salted pecans in date halves . . . blue corn chips and guacamole with fresh salsa . . . OK I'm getting really hungry now! Hope you have a great party!
