I've found that a lot of Alicia's recipes call for those umeboshi plums, and some stone pitted fruits in general. I am highly allergic. I have never tried an umeboshi plum, but I assume I would be allergic to those as well. Any ideas on good replacements for them when they call for it in a recipe? Especially, since I'd like to try her weight loss tea.
I didn't have umeboshi plums when I did my 10-day flush, so I just made the weight loss tea w/out the plum... it worked perfectly for me. And I always make it w/out the nori. I just can't handle the strong fishy flavor in tea quite yet... maybe someday. :(
