I have had terrible allergies and asthma all of my life. Last week I decided to comitt to being vegan, and after just one day my allergies started to clear up; now it's been a week and they are 100% gone! I will NEVER go back - an allergy free life is just too wonderful! :) I can't wait to see what I will feel like in a month.

i've basically had the same thing happen to me. not completely 100% gone, but its good. my excema has almost gone away, allergies almost gone. and food sensitivites have almost all gone away. all in all i'd say they've cleared up at least by 75%. ITS AMAZING ISN'T IT?!

I know its crazy amazing! I used to live off of allergy meds that still didn't take all of my allergies away. It's funny I also have excema and it started clearing up too. It makes you kind of irritated though because you want to run around telling everyone how eating vegan can change your life so much, but people are so attatched to meat/dairy.

totally! i hated taking so many pills and getting not very much benefit. i started using a neti pot for a natural way to combat it. in fact i would still use it when i think i'm getting sick but it hasn't happened yet!

Like all of you I had been plagued by severe allergies, asthma and chronic sinus problems. Also tried various medications and was chained to a couple of inhalers, Claritin and Benadryl as part of every day life.

I am on day 11 of being on a healthy vegan diet and the transformation has been profound. I can't say my allergies are 100% gone, but within the first week my sinuses became significantly less stuffy and I have a ton less mucus. I can now tell that the most inflamed parts of my ear, nose, throat areas have begun to subside.

My lungs have a ways to go. Today they feel kind of lighter, but also I've started coughing a little. Overall path to huge improvements is clear though, and I look forward to see how more changes unfold in the next couple of months.

And, yeah, pretty much nobody wants to hear about how going vegan can improve their lives. People get really adamant and argumentative. I've been there though and know how easy it is to get angry and defensive when someone is suggesting you change, but you are too bound by the convenience and insatiable appetite for animal products to want to change.

I help my patients do it all the time, it works like a dream.
