Hey! Is there anyone from NJ?

If so, what are your favorite vegetarian/vegan places to go?

Hi Adriana. Not sure what part of jersey you are from, but there is a vegan restaurant called Veggie Heaven with locations in Montclair, Parsippany and Teaneck. The Teaneck restaurant has amazing sushi and yes its entirely vegan! We typically eat in NY though, since we are pretty close to the city and of course NY has the most amazing veg restaurants. Unfortunately, not too many veg restaurants in jersey.

Hi Adriana, I'm from South Jersey, about 11 miles from Philly. My husband and I love to go to ethnic restaurants such as Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and our new favorite is Vietnamese! We have Healthy Garden which is right near our house in Voorhees (lots of options!), Amanis Vegetable Garden (vegan take-out) in Merchantville, and there is a new vegetarian/vegan Chinese/Japanese place in Collingwood. Delish! We also head to Philly sometimes for their great options!

Hi Adriana!

I'm from the Jersey shore near Asbury Park.... There are a few good places here, Red Bank, Long Branch, Belmar.....let me know if this is your area and I'll go into more detail about them....

The restaurant in Belmar--wasn't it called something else a few years ago? Just curious, I think I've been there.

I forgot that there are several veg restaurants down the shore too!

Susan- yeah, Kaya's Kitchen is awesome! it's almost completely vegan, but i swear your friends will find something there that they like. i've been with my friends and they loved it. also it's byob, so how can you go wrong?

Diane- yes it's in Belmar. They just relocated and the new restaurant is super nice. We have SOME options at the shore, but definitely not as many as in the city : )

Hey Becky! Are you near Red Bank? I was told a great little vegan place opened up a few weeks ago on West Front Street and that it was yummy! I'm going to try it next week....I'll keep you posted!

Hey Susan! You wouldn't happen to be speaking of Good Karma Cafe? My friend knows someone that works there and we're planning on going next week as well!
