I just bought some steel cut oats, and today was my first day eating them. I had half a cup of oats, some chia, hemp, and flax seeds topped with walnuts a banana and almond milk. There was probably tons of calories but i felt so great all day! I am always hungry two hours after eating, andI was still full for about five hours!

Just thought i would share!

Hi Hannah...I LOVE steel cut oats. I have them just about every morning with a variety of toppings. I have a BIG bowl of it and you are right - I don't get growly until 11:00! Some times having to go eat is a pain when you are busy busy at work.

Yummy! Lately I've been having mine with pumpkin, maple syrup, cinnamon, cranberries and pecans...mmm...it's like fall in a bowl.

BellaStella - do you just put some pumpkin from a can in with your oatmeal? Fall in a bowl is such a lovely phrase!

I just thought I'd add MY most filling breakfast ever cuz I just had it. I took two pieces of Ezekiel tortillas, lightly coated outsides with smart balance buttery spread, and filled them with leftover 'cheesy oozy guacamole bean dip". Oh and a rice milk latte...What more could a girl want?

Yup, I just use the 100% pure organic pumpkin from the can. Not the pumpkin pie filling, that one has lots of added sugar and whatnot. That's why I add the maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit, and add the cinnamon and nutmeg :)

Hmm...I posted an answer, it says I posted, but I can't see it. Oh well I'll post it again so sorry If everyone but me can see this twice lol. Yup, I just use the 100% pure organic pumpkin from the can. Not the pumpkin pie filling, that one has lots of added sugars and whatnot. That's why I add the maple syrup, apart from the fact that maple syrup rocks, it adds the sweetness the canned pumpkin lacks. Hopes this helps!

*Edited* Haha now I see it...nevermind
