As much as I'd love to LOVE kabocha, I just don't like it. I"ve steamed it, baked it, and also tried butternut and acorn squash. The texture just makes me want to puke! I'm not a big fan of zucchini either. Last night I roasted kabocha and zucchini to try again, with some sesame oil, salt, and pepper. I just didn't like it much! Anyone else out there with me? Or have recipes I will for sure love? :D
Lol, I used to hate zucchini and squash. I can't remember how I started liking Zucchini, but I do remember trying a butternut squash soup and was so surprised that it tasted good. Since then I've tried different recipes and have come to really like squash.
